EPS Looking for PMK Support
The AIADMK had entered the 2026 Assembly election with PMK as part of its alliance. PMK formally joined the AIADMK-BJP alliance in January 2026, with EPS and Anbumani Ramadoss jointly announcing the arrangement.
However, the political equation has changed considerably since the Assembly election.
With the Madurantakam and Dharapuram by-elections now scheduled for October 6, the question of whether PMK will extend support to AIADMK has once again become important.
